Cookie Policy
This page explains how threadandtech.com uses cookies and similar technologies, and how to control them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They help a site remember your choices, work properly and measure how it is used. Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, do the same job and are covered here too.
How we use them
We group cookies into three types.
Strictly necessary. These make the site work, remember your cookie choice and keep it secure. They can’t be switched off, and they don’t need consent.
Analytics. These show us how visitors use the site, for example which pages are read most. We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager. We set these cookies only if you accept analytics cookies.
Affiliate and marketing. When you click an affiliate link, the brand or its affiliate network sets a cookie so it can credit us if you buy. These are set on the brand’s or network’s site after you click. We set marketing cookies on our own pages only if you accept them.

Your choices
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, parts of the site may not work. Affiliate links will also stop crediting us, which doesn’t change what you pay.
Some browsers can send an opt-out signal, such as Global Privacy Control. We honor that signal where the law requires it.
